Questions about Glendale National Cemetery

Can you deliver flowers to a grave in Glendale National Cemetery?

Yes. A local Runner places the arrangement and sends you a photo at the headstone. Give us the name on the headstone and any section or plot details you have; a Find a Grave link helps the Runner find the grave.

What kind of flowers are placed?

Hand-crafted silk arrangements built for outdoor use, in a vase or as a headstone saddle, so they stay in place and in color for months. Fresh-cut flowers wilt within days at a grave.

Are silk flowers allowed at Glendale National Cemetery?

Each national cemetery sets its own dates. Glendale National Cemetery's posted rule: "Artificial floral arrangements may be placed on gravesites starting November 1 through April 1." Fresh flowers are welcome at national cemeteries any day. Your Runner follows the posted dates.
